Lately I've noticed a growing interest in stencil and line art... an interest similar in nature to that of [insert favorite easily distracted person's name here] to something shiny. I cannot look away and I want to hang these pieces on every inch of wall space in my house (much like I did with New Kids posters years ago).
I see these stencil/line arty things and can't help but be impressed with the beauty in their simplicity. The best part is when a find a piece that isn't just a look at me, aren't I pretty piece, but something that serves a purpose too -- like the area rug pictured here, or the rehabilitated dishware patterns, or the Photoshop brushes from Design Fruit & CallMeReal (they just released new brushes for Spring!). Clearly I'm in stencil heaven.
Anyway, just thought I'd share.
