I don't have so much time to write anymore. There are always things I want to write about, such as researchers discovering the cause for rosacea. Why do I have so many random afflictions?
Anyway, this weekend was not much different from the norm. It's wedding season, so I was out and about on Saturday, popping in at various weddings around the city, making nice with clients. One perk found me crossing the Bay Bridge on a day when most other Bay Area residents were not allowed access. It was a little creepy driving over all by myself. Of course I had my camera out and snapping away (small photo at right).
Later the same night, I happened to have my camera in hand as the sun set on a stunning day in SF.
It was quite a day. I also managed to sneak in a little shopping and found myself a couple of great dresses, one of which I got to wear to Rob & Mie's wedding on Sunday.
So, yeah, Sunday rocked. I generally feel a bit jaded about weddings (I'm just kinda over them), but there was something really special and incredibly touching about celebrating this marriage. Rob & Mie have been friends forever. They are both such good people, very loving and very loved. The room was full of good energy -- really just an incredible night. Huge congrats to the happy couple! (photo by Dianna Erdesz)
Workwise, I have a gazillion more weddings to attend to before the season is up, and one more for friends. I still think this was the wedding of the year. They are an incredible example of how friendship can turn into love that lasts a lifetime. I like that. I'd like that for myself. Yes, that would be nice.
The rest of the weekend saw me hanging out with Jess & Sonia, seeing Superbad (yes, it's as funny as everyone is saying), and just relaxing for a bit. Quite nice. It's about time for bed now, zzzzzz....
